Brive-la-Gaillarde
Brive-la-Gaillarde,
situated in the south west of France, is the biggest city of the Corrèze
District (population 80,000 including the surrounding area) and the
second largest city of the Limousin Region.
It is a
city where, for many years, sport has been a priority (about 10% of
the local budget) and, from leisure participation to national and
international level competitions, everyone can satisfy their sporting
wishes.
The 160
sports facilities in Brive-La-Gaillarde serve the needs of 32,000
users in 68 different disciplines every week, making it one of the
most active sporting cities in France.
Such facilities attract national and international sports governing
bodies to choose Brive-la-Gaillarde as a venue for top level events.
Along with the facilities, we offer widely recognised experience and
encouragement, all of which together underpin our tradition of welcoming
international events to this city.
